The true measure of quality is tested in professional competition. It is far too easy for breeders to become kennel-blind allowing their vision to become blurred by lack of comparison. We believe that breed-shows, and the scrutiny of qualified judges helps us stay in touch with the international standard of quality. Our best dogs participate in events around the country as well as internationally. Far from bragging, this page allows us monitor our development and guarantees a quality control which later is passed down to our clients."

"Every breeder's dream is to compete at the most prestigious show of the year (National Sieger Show) and place well with their dogs. Often kennels enter upwards of 16 to 20 dogs hoping that a hand full of them will place "in the trophies" (first five places). Our commitment to quality over quantity keeps us reversing that process presenting only a hand full of dogs with chances to win. This is a high risk proposition that requires great honing skills, a good eye for quality, and careful selection.
This year DCS presented three dogs of our ownership and came home with 3 podium placements and trophies!! This represents a 100% accuracy in competitive selection for which we are very proud. In addition, two other DCS-bred dogs owned by friends and clients were presented, both attaining a very respectable 6th place position in very large classes! Congratulations to their owners."
