We are very happy to announce the breeding between our own, home-grown young stud Briggs del Cono Sur (DM Free by parentage), and Kimera von das Mauschen. This was a much-awaited breeding as she was hand-selected more than a year ago with the specific aim of being a partner to this nice male when he finally came of age.
The emphasis of this combination is to preserve the extraordinary qualities of both parents and yet inject a "hybrid vigor" infusion into the progeny by virtue of their pedigrees having zero consanguinity (outcross) in the first three generations. This genetic strategy is well known to top breeders in Germany as it is a true and proven way of enhancing health, longevity, and temperament balance.
Kimera's pedigree shows a close line breeding on the beautiful Homar (Homar 2-3) which renders an ideal concentration of genes. The outcross to Briggs will infuse the puppies with the qualities of other extraordinary (but nonrelated) dogs such as VA Gary Huhnegrab, Izmir, and Henko.
